Part of A Day Well Spent, Country for the Extend the Weekend program, this Sunday session at The Rutledge Bar & Eats is a happy-hour, bar-hosted set, designed to welcome weekend visitors into a relaxed, music-forward atmosphere. Housed in a restored blacksmith’s workshop with warm timber interiors and comfy lounge areas, The Rutledge pairs seasonal, shareable plates with authentic live music — expect heartfelt singalongs and a close, communal vibe that celebrates local hospitality.
The session consists of two sets with a quick break — perfect for grabbing lunch, staying for the music and continuing your day in Berry.

From Dylan to Divinyls, The Freewheelers flip effortlessly between upbeat pub rock and lazy Sunday sessions. This dynamic duo blends heartfelt vocals, rhythmic acoustic guitar, melodic harmonica solos and layered percussive textures — including an electric cajón — to deliver 100% authentic live music. Their sets are warm, accessible and built for crowds who love to sing, sway and remember why live music belongs in the local bar.
About a Day Well Spent
A Day Well Spent is Berry’s multi-venue, music-first series of Thursday locals’ nights and Sunday sessions that brings life to the precinct, supports hospitality businesses and creates dependable performance opportunities for musicians. It is part of the Extend the Weekend campaign. There are four music-led weekends planned – 19th & 22nd February (Country), 19th & 22nd March (Jazz & Blues), 21st & 24th May (Indie), and 18th & 21st June (Funk & Soul).
Supported by the NSW Uptown Grant Program – part of a statewide movement to revitalise regional town centres and help extend the weekend to support our hospitality businesses and live musicians and help our visitors live like a local in Berry.
