It also highlights the alarming statistics of domestic violence across Australia and within the Shoalhaven region. \nAcross Australia\, a woman loses her life to domestic violence every six days. In the year leading up to June 2023\, domestic violence-related homicides in the Shoalhaven area reached nearly twice the New South Wales average. \nWe encourage everyone to visit Broughton Court during this period to reflect on the impact of domestic violence and to join the movement to end it. Each ribbon\, each shoe\, is a reminder of those lost and of our collective responsibility to create a safer world for women and girls.
