Eat the Invaders: A Delicious Discovery into Eating Local Invasive Species
Join us in the stunning Kangaroo Valley for a unique and thought-provoking lunch experience that blends sustainability with unforgettable flavors. Eat the Invaders is an immersive dining event where you’ll learn about the environmental impact of invasive species—and help combat them in the most delicious way possible!
Our carefully curated menu showcases dishes featuring local invasive species, from succulent wild goat to flavorful feral rabbit, pest fish, and foraged weeds. As you savour each bite, you’ll gain insight into how these species affect our ecosystem and how ethical consumption can turn a problem into an opportunity.
Guided by passionate chef Angie from The Valley Table, this event is more than just a meal—it’s a journey into the heart of sustainable eating, native flavors, and culinary creativity.
